Stainless steel firm strand rigging wire and associated terminals are being increasingly used in architectural projects throughout the country.

The building industry is becoming more and more aware of the appeal of stainless wire as both a cosmetic and structural feature on buildings.

Many architects are using wire rigging as a feature instead of more conventional steel rods or other structural elements.

 

We have extensive experience in the building and architectural fields having supplied balustrade wires and tension wire assemblies for private and commercial premises.

We are also able to manufacture stay wires for flagpoles, chimneys and aerials.

 

Our experience in the marine industry and the rigging of sailing yachts led us to use only the best products and use the best methodical approach backed up by top quality workmanship. We have now extended this same approach to architectural rigging.

 

Amongst architectural projects undertaken, we have recently installed balcony and staircase wires on a Marina Office and Shower Complex at Tide Mill, Woodbridge.
Also we installed safety wires surrounding a water feature in the dining area of Endeavour House, Ipswich, the headquarters of Suffolk County Council.
We also installed extensive wire systems for the staircases of two office block renovation projects in the St Pauls area of London.
As well as undertaking on-site within the local area, we can supply architectural wires for self assembly and installation in any location.

 

We are now known by a number of local architects, structural engineers and steelwork fabricators as being specialists in this work.
